Book "OODA Loops" by Kalev Erickson
The OODA Loop (Observe → Assess → Decide → Act), now a business term, was devised by a US military officer who served in the Korean War. The layout features a multitude of motifs, including a sea of clouds, the sky, weapons, airplanes, and everyday life during wartime, as if to visually recreate the "rapid decision-making on the battlefield" that the OODA Loop made possible. The intersection of military thought and visual documentary is a truly AMC-inspired finish.
Book “Wildman Fever!” Ruben Lundgren
With the end of the Cultural Revolution in the late 1970s, academic research resumed in China, and the reexamination of "superstition" rapidly progressed. One of the most notable examples was the "Wild People" (Yelen). This photo book brings together investigative photographs, newspaper clippings, and recorded testimonies from China during the wild people boom, including local eyewitness accounts, newspaper reports, and full-scale investigations by scientists, re-presenting the excitement and confusion of the boom. Visually, it offers a re-experience of the anxiety and hope that permeated Chinese society at the time, and the unique atmosphere between science and folk belief.

A number of previously unpublished photographs capture the fleeting atmosphere of parties, where anxiety about a new era flickers behind the glamour. This is a valuable document of urban culture on the verge of succumbing to Nazism.

This is a cosmic art book filled with a series of striking visuals from microscope slides.

This archive of the comical nonchalance of people living in wartime shakes our very foundations when it comes to images of war and violence.
